- Start a business with your significant other they said. It would be fun they said. Actually no one said this but thank you to the clag glue we call family and team is what makes TLR it is today - a warm tin shed with genuine people bringing mediocre to good chat and a good time.
Our opening hours are;
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday – Dinner 5pm to late (note; closed for Thursdays in September 23)
- Sunday – Lunch 12pm to 4pm

Some dietary requirements can be incorporated into the banquet with prior notice. Please see below for dietary information.
We’re a tiny tin shed. Like, really, really tiny. The largest table we can sit is 8 people.
For tables of more than 8, it would become a private function with a minimum spend. Please call us on 0403 784 568 to discuss.
We no longer allow BYO of any kind… If you have a very special bottle, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for further discussion.
We don’t allow outside food to be brought in.
You will need to allow at least 2 hours to experience our set menu. As the number of diners increase, so will the time required.
*Please note that we take bookings for two sittings. If you have booked in the first sitting, you may be asked to vacate the table after your allocated time to allow for the next sitting.
Do we do takeaway?!? Nope! But, lots of good places around here do… We highly recommend our friends at Lot 8 just down the road.
We are able to cater for a number of common dietary requirements. Unfortunately, due to the size of our kitchen and nature of the business, there are some that are not possible.
This also includes any combination of multiple dietary requirements and lifestyle choices
Dietary requirement we are unable to cater for;
- Low spice
- “Paleo” or “Keto” diets
- FODMAP – including, but not limited to soy/onion/garlic allergies
- Coriander or sesame allergies
- Chilli, capsicum or related allergies
- Any airborne allergies
- Any combination of dietary requirements (such as vegan/gluten free, dairy free/gluten free, vegetarian/mushroom allergy, shellfish/mushroom allergy)

Sure! We only have one highchair available, so please let us know if you need one when you book.
Our venue is a very old and very small shed, so for safety reasons we don’t allow children under 12 in the second sitting for dinner (8pm).
Due to our size, we can not accommodate prams inside.
We can cater for a private function. Give us a call to discuss the details.
You’ll find us at 24 Old Coach Rd, Aldinga, approximately 50m north of the Pub on the eastern side next to Goodness Coffee Co.
We take bookings inside and in our courtyard area. We leave our lawn tables for walk-ins. Please dress seasonably if you have selected courtyard seating.
A surcharge of 15% applies on all Public Holidays.
Credit Card surcharges may also apply on certain cards depending on relevant bank fees.
In extreme heat, the kitchen is not safe for our chefs as temperatures can exceed 60 degrees.
If the forecast is above 35 degrees, we may decide to close the restaurant.
We will be in touch with individual bookings if this is the case.
Please let us know in booking notes as the building is 190 years old and some areas contains steps so please let us guide you.
